Gerontology Student Association (GSA)

What does GSA do?

  • Assists peers in whatever ways possible academically, in developing professional relationships, and socially
  • Provides a monthly newsletter with information about topics in aging, calendar of upcoming events, and information from professors
  • Provides networking and career direction by leading monthly meetings, an annual Information Fair and Alumni Banquet
  • Provides volunteer and internships opportunities
  • Provides basic, factual information that makes people appreciate the positive side to growing older
  • The primary point of contact for students, community constituents, and alumni

GSA Mission:
    To stimulate professional interest in the field of Gerontology by providing students with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge skills, and career direction
